Venture Unknown - The Anomaly (Teaser)
Issue.N 3: The Anomaly Venture Unknown is a series of novels and short-films I have been creating in tandem with my video game Hyperspace. Set in the same universe, it’s a way to showcase and elaborate on the worlds, characters, and backstory. The lore is becoming deeper and I want this universe to be experienced in different ways. 🎬🎧🕹 I have been silently working very hard on the game since I last showcased it, and the world is greatly more complex and nuanced. Venture Unknown (Set in the Hyperspace universe)
I bring you my new brand new project, Venture Unknown. It is a cinematic series set in my game’s universe. The story that takes place before the game begins and will hopefully be a nice introduction to the world and lore. All of this has been built using Cinema 4D, as well as VR sculpting apps oculus medium & gravity sketch . All was rendered in real-time using unreal engine . Some of the assets were made beforehand, But the total work time to produce was 4 days. (New personal record) I’ve spent a lot of time refining and pipelining my workflow to be able to produce these cinematics at a much faster rate. The visuals themselves have less complexity in rendering and textures compared to other works, but goal is to be able to realistically produce a series by my own and for that I needed a more minimal approach, that still retained a certain graphical fidelity. I was very happy with the result, especially with the painterly shading that goes very well in line with my game style along with older artworks of Mine. This is one of the biggest project I’ve took on and it’s going to be built in parallel to Hyperspace. I can’t say when the full series will be ready but hopefully in the very near future.
